IS IOSIS? |
Iosis is known as the final stage of transformation in ancient alchemy. This stage is also known as Rubedo in Latin, meaning "redness" and it is marked by the reddening of the material during the stage of coagulation or coming together. Both gold and the philosopher's stone were associated with the color red, as rubedo signaled alchemical success, the turning of base metal to gold, and the culmination of the Great Work.
