In this era of change and uncertainty, individuals and organizations are seeking ways to access greater insight and empowerment. Accurate data and rigorous process are important, but deepening our understanding and compassion for each other's humanness is imperative. Will we rise in a collective uplift in conscious awareness, caring, inclusion, equity, safety, sustainability, and positive innovation? Or will we allow ourselves to engage in the same old emotional, behavioral, and mindset structures and patterns that have kept us disparate, disassociated, and just paying lip service to the deeper things (within ourselves, our organizations, and our culture) that need tending to?
As we've all seen in recent months, change happens both intentionally and unexpectedly. Even with the best plans and models in place, things can turn on a dime. And, sometimes, turning that fast is what should happen to wake us up from sleeping at the wheel. It is our creative, empathic, innovative perspectives and insights in conjunction with technical and strategic prowess that will enable us make lasting radical change for the better, to not just survive but thrive.
As we consider our individual and collective visions and take action for the future, I'll be posting some media finds related to our changing world, offering both known and out-of-the-box ideas to consider for positive personal, professional, organizational, and societal change. Please note that my intention is to post an eclectic mix. I do not embrace all of the notions posited by every source I share. I do value different perspectives and the chance to learn something new. Take what resonates, leave the rest behind. And please feel free to suggest links for me to check out. ~Susan DuMett

WHAT
IS IOSIS? |
Iosis is known as the final stage of transformation in ancient alchemy. This stage is also known as Rubedo in Latin, meaning "redness" and it is marked by the reddening of matter during the stage of coagulation or coming together. Both gold and the philosopher's stone were associated with the color red, as rubedo signaled alchemical success, the turning of base metal to gold, and the culmination of the Great Work.
